Velvet Tardis was the Brain child of Phil ( on drums) and Chris ( lead guitar) In Fact VT was conceived by accident. Chris a...nd Phil called upon dawns lead vocals and Daves bass skills and threw them Into mix , but there was a catch .....there was to be no rehearsal and VT's first gig was to happen in less than 3 days ! The day arrived ...the gig was incredible and had an amazing response leaving everyone one with the smiles on their faces. So the original plan was that it was a one off gig ....so what was the future for VT? , what would happen next ?, well the response was so good and the chemistry was electric there was no way VT could simply fade away. It was decided we were to do more and make the band official , every gig that VT has done to date have been very positively received and VT has much more to come. The band collectively have a huge back catalogue of experience performing live and studio recording. With influences from the likes of Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, Metallica, Motley Crue , AC/DC, Bon Jovi, Aerosmith ....and much more VT are made up of Chris ( the Ripper ) Taylor, oozing charisma , and face melting squeals , dive bombs, and serious shredding and various hair thrashing manoeuvres , Phil ( the powerhouse ) Greenhouse, driving VT with his solid, tight drumming skills , Dave on his pounding , low slung bass , and Dawn's unique lead vocals VT are guaranteed to ROCK YOU !!!!!
